Staff Accountant
Location: Chatham-Kent, ON (In-Person)
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

We’re growing—and we’re looking for a Staff Accountant who’s ready to grow with us.
What You’ll Do
As a key member of our team, you’ll play a hands-on role in shaping the financial health of our clients. Your work will be varied, impactful, and collaborative.
• Prepare Notice to Reader financial statements and tax returns for a diverse client base.
• Complete bookkeeping, payroll, and corporate recordkeeping with accuracy and efficiency.
• Complete government filings including HST, Source Deductions, EHT, and WSIB.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, government agencies, and internal teams.
• Occasionally travel to client sites to provide on-location support.
• Keep managers informed of progress and proactively flag issues.
• Mentor and train junior staff, sharing your knowledge and expertise.
• Spot opportunities to add value for existing clients and support business development initiatives.
What You Bring
We’re looking for someone who’s not just qualified—but passionate about making a difference.
• Post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, or Business, or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of experience in bookkeeping/accounting (public accounting preferred).
• Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
• Experience with CRA reviews and audits.
• Proficiency in interpreting financial statements and completing payroll.
• Familiarity with CaseWare, Profile, Sage, QBO, QuickBooks Desktop, ERP systems, and Microsoft 365.
• High integrity, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of personal income tax (T1) is a plus.

This position is based in-person at our office in Chatham-Kent, ON.
Schedule
This position follows a day shift schedule, with work hours from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
